What are Pets?
Pets are magical companions in Totemancer that boost your chance of discovering new Totems when opening Chests.
Pets help you grow your Totem collection faster by improving your Discovery chance for a limited number of Chest openings.
How Pets Work
When a Pet is active, it gives you a Totem Discovery boost for your next Chest openings.
Each time you open a Chest with an active Pet, one Pet boost is used. When the Pet has no boosts left, it disappears.
You can only have one active Pet at a time.
Pet Types
Pets are divided into two main types: Free Pets and Merchant Pets.
Free Pets
Free Pets can appear through gameplay rewards, duplicate progress, events, gifts, or special celebrations.

Merchant Pets
Merchant Pets can be chosen in the Merchant using Telegram Stars. Daily Pets may be featured or discounted, but other Merchant Pets can still be selected normally.

How to Get Pets
Pets can be found through gameplay rewards, duplicate Totem progress, events, gifts, or the Merchant.
In the Merchant, some Pets are featured each day and one featured Pet may receive a daily discount. Other Merchant Pets can still be chosen normally.
When to Use a Pet
Pets are most useful when you are ready to open Chests. Stronger Pets are especially valuable before opening better Chests such as Rare, Ancient, or Mythic Chests.
- Use stronger Pets before opening important Chests.
- Open Chests while a Pet is active to use its Discovery boost.
- Watch your remaining boosts so you know how many Chests your Pet can still help with.
Example
If you activate a Wolf, it gives +80% Discovery for your next 4 Chest openings.
Each time you open a Chest, Wolf helps with Discovery and one boost is used. After 4 boosted Chest openings, the Wolf is gone.
