What are Chests?
Chests are one of the main reward systems in Totemancer. You earn them by playing matches, then unlock them to receive Mana, possible Totem discoveries, and other progression rewards.
How to get Chests
You can receive Chests by winning matches, completing certain activities, claiming free daily rewards, or earning special rewards from events and Invite/Friends milestones.
Chests help you progress even when you are not playing constantly, because each Chest has an unlock timer.
Chest Rarities and Timers
Each Chest has a rarity. Higher rarity Chests take longer to unlock, but usually contain better rewards.
- Common Chest — unlocks in 10 minutes
- Rare Chest — unlocks in 1 hour
- Ancient Chest — unlocks in 4 hours
- Mythic Chest — unlocks in 8 hours
Chest Drop Rates
These are the base chances for Chests earned from match rewards:
- Common Chest — 70%
- Rare Chest — 22%
- Ancient Chest — 7%
- Mythic Chest — 1%
Special events, quests, milestones, or future updates may use different reward rules.
Free Chests
Every player can claim up to 2 free Chests per day. Free Chests are limited to Common or Rare rarity.
To claim a free Chest, you need an empty Chest slot. If all your slots are full, unlock or open an existing Chest first.
Chest Slots
You can carry up to 4 Chests at once. When your Chest slots are full, you may not be able to receive new Chests until you open space.
Try not to leave all slots full for too long, especially if you are actively playing and winning matches.
What is inside a Chest?
- Mana — the main resource used for upgrades and cosmetics
- Totem discovery rewards — a chance to discover or progress toward new Totems
- Duplicate progress — duplicate Totem results can still help your collection progress
- Special rewards — some Chests or events may include extra bonuses

Some bonuses can improve your chances of discovering better Totems from Chests. Your equipped Totem, active Pets, and other discovery boosts may help improve Totem discovery outcomes.
Chests are most effective when combined with consistent play: win matches, keep your slots moving, complete quests, and open higher rarity Chests when you earn them.
