How to play with my friend?
Playing Totemancer with friends is one of the easiest ways to learn the game, test strategies, and introduce new players to land capture, Burst, and bonus turns.
How to Start a Friend Match

Open the Play screen
Go to the main Play screen inside Totemancer.

Tap “Invite a friend”
Use the Invite a friend button to create a private match invite.

Share the invite
You can share the invite link through Telegram, chats, social media, or any app where you can send a link.

Use a Match Code
If your friend cannot open the link directly, you can share the 5-digit Match Code so they can join manually.

Start playing
Once your friend joins, the match starts and you can play together immediately.
Do Friend Matches Give Rewards?
Friend matches can still give normal progression rewards. They are useful for learning, practicing, and helping new players understand the game.
Friend matches may affect your Rating, but they do not affect your leaderboard Ranking.
Best Ways to Use Friend Matches
- Teach new players. Help them understand how to capture land and chain bonus turns.
- Practice Burst timing. Try different ways to break enemy plans or stop big captures.
- Test strategies safely. Experiment with openings, defensive shapes, and comeback ideas.
- Invite active friends. Players who enjoy strategy games are more likely to stay and compete.
Invite/Friends Rewards
If you want to invite someone new to Totemancer, use the Invite/Friends system. Your friend can receive a Friendship Chest, and you can earn a reward after they complete enough matches.
