Leaderboard & Rankings
The Totemancer Leaderboard is where players compete for rank, prestige, and long-term recognition. Your position depends on real PvP performance, smart play, and consistency over time.
Winning ranked battles helps you climb, while losses can reduce your progress. Stronger opponents usually offer bigger gains, while losing to lower-ranked players can hurt more.
Ranking vs Rating
Totemancer uses competitive progress in two ways:
- Ranking shows your visible leaderboard progress and rank tier.
- Rating helps measure skill and can affect matchmaking or private/friend match balance.
Friend matches may affect your Rating, but they do not affect your leaderboard Ranking.
How to Enter the Leaderboard
New players begin as Unranked. To start climbing, play real PvP matches in modes that count toward ranking.
Trainer battles, bot matches, and private practice games do not count toward leaderboard ranking.
Rank Tiers
As you gain points, you climb through Totemancer’s competitive ranks:
- Iron I → Iron II → Iron III
- Bronze I → Bronze II → Bronze III
- Silver I → Silver II → Silver III
- Gold I → Gold II → Gold III
- Diamond I → Diamond II → Diamond III
- Champion I → Champion II → Champion III
- The Ancient — the highest competitive title
How Points Work
Points move you up or down the ladder. Your gains and losses depend on your rank, your opponent’s strength, and the match result.
- Win: gain points and move closer to the next rank.
- Loss: lose points, especially if you lose to a much lower-ranked opponent.
- Draw: usually gives little or no progress.
- Upset win: beating a stronger opponent can give a larger reward.
Once you reach Iron I, you cannot fall back to Unranked.
Tyrant Status
Tyrant is a special temporary status for players on a strong winning streak. Win 10 matches in a row to become a Tyrant.
A Tyrant becomes a high-value target. Defeating a Tyrant can award extra Mana, making long win streaks exciting for both the player on the streak and the challenger trying to stop them.
Tyrant status ends when the Tyrant is defeated.
Seasons and Resets
Totemancer leaderboards can reset or soft-reset over time to keep competition fresh. A soft reset helps active players keep part of their progress while giving everyone a new chance to climb.
Inactive players may lose rank over time, so staying active is important if you want to keep your position.
Clans and Weekly Competition
Individual ranking is not the only way to compete. Clans also give players a social competitive goal through weekly contribution and Clan leaderboard progress.
How to Climb Faster
- Play consistently. Ranking rewards steady performance.
- Learn from losses. Check missed bonus turns, weak territory, and poor Burst timing.
- Beat stronger opponents. Upset wins can help you climb faster.
- Avoid unnecessary draws. Draws usually do not help much.
- Stay active. Inactivity can reduce your competitive position.
